| America’s Real Iranian Friends - Mohammad Arasi |
 |
Mr. President, in the incessant psycho-political war
that has started in the name of preventing the
Islamic Republic of Iran from obtaining nuclear bombs,
there are individuals and groups among the Iranians
residing in the US who, while pretending to be friends
and well-wishers of the United States, are resorting
to all means at their disposal, including mixing truths
and lies, to drag the United States into an all-out
war with Iran in order to achieve their own individual
and collective objectives.

| Senator J. Bennett Johnston: Co-Chairman, AIC |
 |
Senator J. Bennett Johnston’s public political career
spanned 32 years, including eight years in the
Louisiana Legislature and 24 years in the United
States Senate.
As a member of the Senate Committee on Energy and
Natural Resources from its creation and as its
Chairman and Ranking Member for much of that time,
he was either directly or indirectly responsible for all
energy legislation considered by the Congress
between 1973 and 1996. He proposed and passed
the first electricity restructuring legislation as part of
the Energy Policy Act of 1992; that Act also
contained extensive provisions regarding natural gas
and re-wrote the nuclear licensing provisions of
federal law.

| Tom & Katie’s Suri |
 |
|
On April 18, 2006, Tom Cruise and his fiancée Katie
Holmes welcomed the arrival of their baby girl, Suri.
Since the name was announced, it has become a hot
topic. Tom announced that the name has Persian and
Hebrew origins, where it means “red rose”
and “princess” respectively. While the Hebrew origin
of the name was disputed by some Israelis, the
Persian origin of the name was commented on by
Professor Amirahmadi in an interview with New York
Daily. "In Farsi, it means red, like a fiery color, but
there is no such a thing as a 'Suri' that means 'red
rose,' I can promise you that," said Dr. Amirahmadi,
AIC’s President. He added that the word also can
mean "a party or celebration."
